Carver Films launched as a partnership between producers Anna McLeish and Sarah Shaw. Carver is an independent, Melbourne-based development and production company specialising in international film and television.
Prior to Carver, McLeish and Shaw ran Warp Films Australia. Together they produced Justin Kurzel’s Snowtown which premiered in competition at Critics Week, Cannes 2011; Mark Albiston and Louis Sutherland’s New Zealand-set Shopping (Sundance, Berlin 2013) and Ariel Kleiman’s Partisan starring Vincent Cassel, which premiered in World Dramatic Competition at Sundance 2015.
